Farwaniya Governorate:

This Governorate includes the following within its boundaries:

North: The northern boundary starts at the intersection of Al-Maghreb Road with Fourth Ring Road and extends westwards until it meets Jahra Road, and heads west until it meets Sulaibiya Road.

West: The west boundary starts at the meeting of Jahra Road with Sulaibiya Road and extends southward until it meets with the extension of Seventh King Road.

South: The southern boundary starts at the meeting point of Sulaibiya Road with the extension of the Seventh Ring Road until it meets Al Safar Motorway.

East: The eastern boundary starts at the meeting point of Seventh Ring Road with At Safar Motorway. It extends northwards through Al Safar Motorway until it meets the Fourth Ring Road.

Al Jahra Governorate:

Al Jahra Governorate is famous for its Red Palace in which Jahra Battle took place. It also includes Um Al Aish Satellite Station, Al Roudatain Oil Fields, Um Al Aish, Al- Manageesh and Al Roudatain drinking water fields. It also includes the area within the following boundaries:

North: Kuwait's northern border (The Kuwait-Iraq border)

East: The eastern boundary starts at the meeting point of Kuwait’s northern borders with Kuwait’s coast heading south at Sebeya Bay, then extending towards southwest along Kazima coast until it meets with the West boundary of the Capital governorate with the coast. Then it heads eastwards through the Jahra Road until its intersection with Sulaibiya Road, and it extends southwards through Sulaibiya Road until Al Manageesh Road. It extends through Al Radeefa Road south of Al Manageesh, it also extends through Al Radeefa Road until it meets the Kuwaiti-Saudi borders, it extends towards northwest through the Kuwaiti-Saudi borders until the meeting point with the Kuwait Saudi-Iraq border.

West: The western boundary starts at the meeting point of the Kuwait-Saudi-Iraq border and extends through the western border of Kuwait with Iraq. Boubyan and Warba Island, are included in this governorate.

At Ahmadi Governorate:

Al Ahmadi Governorate was established in 1962 and was named by the previous Amir of Kuwait, Late Sheikh Ahmad Al Jaber At Sabah. This Governorate is famous for its oil fields and oil wells as well as Al Ahmadi, Al Shuaiba, Abdullah and At Zour ports. It now includes the divided areas of land, Sush Al Wafra and Al Kairan.
