The establishment of the Scientific Club was a pioneering step on the track of building up a science-oriented generation, to be trained for the equipment and labs used by scientists. Such scientific clubs will be the starting point for young Kuwaitis to become the scientists of the future.

The Club includes an observatory, which will be of great help in training young people in astronomy. It receives financial and moral support from the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Science and the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research.

In addition to these efforts in the field of scientific research, the use of computers has become common in all government bodies, institutions, companies, banks and educational bodies. This is an indication that Kuwait is on the right track of comprehensive technological progress.
